Meet Pat

“You will laugh, you will cry, and you will walk away saying…
“Wow… I can do this.”

You will walk away from Pat feeling better about yourself.  Applying real life experience to connect with her audience, she breathes life into people’s dreams.Pat McGill is no longer a formal teacher, but continues to teach people about life, business, getting along with others, and being all that we can be. She is a people person who everyone wants to hang out with! Pat is great at connecting with people, making them feel comfortable and coaxing them out of their comfort zones.

Pat holds a Master’s Degree in Education from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She is also a former middle school teacher and adjunct professor of human relations. In addition to her work as a trainer and consultant, Pat has taught for four colleges as an adjunct professor and led numerous church and community initiatives.  She’s convinced, however, that her talents are rooted in her Midwestern upbringing, Irish heritage and an early adventure in pageantry.

Before being named Miss Congeniality in the Miss South Dakota pageant (years ago), I tripped upon entering the judging room, then fell down! But I got up and asked if they wanted to see more. They did, and I’ve been tripping up ever since —  learning lessons and passing them on to those who’ll listen.

Pat grew up helping in the family grocery store in Beresford, South Dakota, learning about customer service at the age of eight — learning that serving is a privilege and honor. In addition to being a practicing educator, Pat has owned businesses, and received numerous community, business, educational and civic awards.
